I am a licensed acupuncturist, practicing for close to twenty years.
My education spans through Chinese, Japanese, and Korean techniques.
Over the years, I have developed my own style that includes painless needling, and quick results.
Along with acupuncture, I also practice CranioSacral Therapy, and SAAT for allergies and Alpha-Gal.
Currently, I serve the areas of: Oak Ridge and Anderson County, Oliver Springs and surrounding areas; Powell, Hardin Valley, Knoxville, and most areas of East Tennessee.

A gentle hands-on technique to assist the body's innate healing through nervous system regulation.
Developed through the teachings of Osteopathy, CranioSacral Therapy has been used for decades as a way to unwind the body's fascia, release tissue adhesions and other overall tightness in the body that leads to pain and discomfort.
It is safe and effective for most anyone, including children and babies.
I am certified in CST through the Upledger Institute.
Cupping and bloodletting
Fire cupping.
This treatment technique utilizes negative pressure, which affects fascia and circulation.
It is ideal for reducing upper back and neck tension, improving circulation, supporting tissue recovery, and offering an alternative to deep tissue massage.
Blood-letting is an ancient practice using a lancet to prick small areas to quickly move pain out of the body. I use both a Chinese and a Japanese style of blood-letting to quickly alleviate stubborn pain.
SAAT Allergy

Alpha-Gal
Certified by Dr. Soliman in SAAT Allergy Protocol to treat allergies, including Alpha-Gal. This technique has proven 80-95% effective in resolving allergies, including Alpha-Gal.
At the consultation, the 3mm needle is placed in a specific point in the ear, for 3 weeks. It is painless and highly effective.

Penelope is incredibly skilled and very knowledgeable. I had never tried acupuncture before. I wasn't opposed to it, but never sought it out. However, I had pain and numbness in my hands and forearms at night (for years) and I was desperate. I tried everything except surgery and I was not going that route. I was introduced to Penelope at Axion Acupuncture and we talked about the benefits of acupuncture. I finally decided I had to give it a try. After four treatments I was pain free, it was unbelievable! Now I go once a month for maintenance treatments and I remain symptom free. I would not hesitate to recommend Axion Acupuncture!
